Pagan Festivals:

The purpose of the
public event is for the advancement of religion and elimination of
prejudice and discrimination based on religious beliefs. The mission of
the Pagan Pride Project is to foster pride in Pagan identity through
education, activism, charity and community.
A food drive or other
charitable activity is a large part of each event, to share our abundant
harvest with others in need, and to make a clear statement to those who
have misconceptions about Paganism. We know that our ethics, based on
concern for ecology, personal responsibility, and individual freedom,
mean that we feel strongly called to actions of social responsibility.
It is important for us to highlight our similarity to other religions in
that regard.

The College of Wicca and
Old Lore was founded in 1999 by High Priestess MorningGlory Dragonfly.
As then owner of Herbs and Arts, she saw more Pagans in Denver seeking
instruction in the Craft than there were teachers. MorningGlory
was given a vision and challenge to create a Pagan community to teach
students and also prepare teachers to carry on teaching in the Wicca.
Thus, the College of Wicca was born. To date, we have taught
nearly 100 students with more enrolling each quarter. The number
of teachers has grown from two to nine, with four student teachers.
A large Pagan and Wiccan community has developed in Denver from this
vision. |

CUUPS of the First
Unitarian Society of Denver (FUSD) is a growing community of Pagan
Unitarian Universalists: Unitarian Universalists who are exploring
Paganism, and Pagans who are exploring Unitarian Universalism. We
come together because of our reverence for Nature and our instinct for
celebration, as well as for our desire to create community which shares
in these things. We recognize kindred hearts and shared purposes.
Our different histories mean that we each have empowering insights and
skills to share with one another. We are elders, parents, young
adults, and every age in between, of any and all nationalities and
ethnic heritages. We are straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual,
transgendered, married, single, celibate, and every possibility in
between.
